Not Jennifer or Meg, Not Pink Floyd

Tilly and the Wall is playing Cat's Cradle tonight. I may go because I can get in for free (work perk) and a friend of mine who has some agreeable taste in music can't stop talking about them. They're sharing a bill with DeVotcKa who rocked my socks at the M.Ward show back in the spring of 2005. DeVotchKa's lead singer stopped my heart with his cover of "Hot Burrito No. 1." Gram Parsons was proud, I'm sure.

Also, Tilly and the Wall look like they could be a fake band from a sitcom on the Disney channel. Remember that show on Disney with the teen band? (Not Kids, Incorporated, but the other one.) Very sharp and edgy. Ooh.
